• Are you passionate about Handmade Ceramic Tiles, too?

Keceramics started its accidental creative business in 1993, energised solely by the sheer passion, anger and frustrations of its founding-partner cum principal-designer cum former-town-planner cum dear-me! 😉 I was 29 years young, idealistic and impatient, and once upon a time many moons before furthering my tertiary studies and graduating in something I wasn’t passionate about, I […]

  • Strengthening our CORE!

August-2017 is yet another challenging month, but this time around, it has gone deeper to my core. It has highlighted grave weaknesses in our basic support-systems, in the midst of completing multiple bulk-orders of customade handmade tiles!  I’ve found myself switching back and forth between facing the problems head-on and running away to distract and […]

  • What we did in July: Perfecting our CeramicHuesOfBlue..

Overtime-productions of June continued to the whole month of July, almost as soon as possible after syawal-break! Multiple rushes for completion of multiple shapes, sizes and colours of CUSTOMADE handmade-tiles were happening concurrently with multiple little unnecessary mistakes being made to distract our focus and datelines! But persisting and completing them, we must.. In between […]

  • The Sourcerer?

Been busy travelling the whole of this month! Not simply travelling, but more of exploring and sourcing for some ‘nusantara’ products to match ours. It’s tiring but definitely fun and exciting! If I were to be given a chance to further expand my retail-outlets and design-expertises, I would want to design much more products using […]

  • TheCeramicDesigner’s zesty years?!

My last blogpost was on march8th, approx 7wks ago! What have I been up to eversince, huh?  The whole of March-2017 was about responding to various customade bulk-orders/inquiries; the kind of activities that we solely focused on back in the mid-90’s during our formative early years. Then based in Ipoh-factory for 2yrs circa 1994-96, I’d […]

  • Customade Handmade Ceramic Tiles

You’re designing and refurbishing an F&B outlet, and you ideally need your walls, backdrops or risers to be uniquely different from other outlets, right?  Apart from using wood, metals, glasses, concrete, fabrics, and other common materials as wall-panels, why not consider ceramic tiles? Not just any ceramic tiles that you can readily source and find […]

  • Keceramics Fridge Magnets

We didn’t bother doing plenty of these little touristic items before because we wanted to focus on interior/household customade/bulk projects, but would occasionally do them in the past when requested/needed, but would never pursue them relentlessly and passionately. Now we’ve learned and re-learned NOT to take them for granted anymore! These tiny hard clay-products have […]

  • Keceramics Handmade Tiles as Fridge Magnets

Apart from direct applications to the walls, keceramics handmade tiles have been boxed, framed and transformed into other usages, and the latest is to convert them into little pieces of fridge magnets! Our first few ranges of ceramic fridge magnets feature Islamic-zikirs in various finishes and colours, and subsequent ranges are focused on Malaysiana-motives..
