Recycle-Greenkaca

GREENKACA is kéceramics vocabulary simply means green-GLASS. Since 2004, kéceramics has been scouring local recycle-centres for used empty GREEN bottles, crushing them into minute pieces, incorporating them into some of our ceramic designs, and baking these art-pieces up to the highest stoneware temperatures of above 1200-degree celsius. When these crushed glass pieces melted onto ceramic-bodies, they fused permanently together to become one liquid-entity, smoothly covering the surfaces of the ceramic-bodies, whilst still preserving the natural characteristic patterns of the broken glass. Various tones of green has been used in our ceramic designs over the years, mainly due to the current availability of the types of used bottles that we can find, but the fusion of these varied green-tones is the added beauty of our GREENKACA ceramic products..
